Planning Underway 2010 Summer Picnic

The picnic is scheduled for Saturday, July 17th with Sunday the 18th as a rain date. If you would like more information about this event please email us. This year we are looking forward to a large turnout as our group continues to grow.

Unlimbited Possibilities Members Become Peer Visitors

In September of 2008 the Amputee Coalition of America trained and certified 7 of our parents to be parent peer visitors. This is a new program through the ACA which provides support to parents of children with limb loss. The support can be by phone, in person or via email if necessary.

The ACA has had a peer visitor program for some time but there was not a program for parents of children affected by limb loss. Unlimbited Possibilities has partnered with the ACA in furthering this project. We look forward to utilizing the skills taught in the training and being better able to help the families in our group.
