Bailey Buddies Program

Josh Bailey (12) of the NY Islanders through the Bailey Buddies program provided a great experience to 8 Unlimbited Possibilities families during the 2010/2011 hockey season. This included tickets to a game and meeting Josh Bailey. Thank you to him and the Islanders for giving our children a great experience!

Unlimbited Possibilities Members Become Peer Visitors

In September of 2008 the Amputee Coalition of America trained and certified 7 of our parents to be parent peer visitors. This is a new program through the ACA which provides support to parents of children with limb loss. The support can be by phone, in person or via email if necessary.

The ACA has had a peer visitor program for some time but there was not a program for parents of children affected by limb loss. Unlimbited Possibilities has partnered with the ACA in furthering this project. We look forward to utilizing the skills taught in the training and being better able to help the families in our group.
